Free Special Needs Summer Camp!

Lions Camp Tatiyee provides special needs youth with life-changing summer camp experiences promoting their emotional health, independence, self-esteem, and confidence, entirely free-of-charge. Sessions last 6 days and 5 nights, providing campers with a life-changing summer camp experience, allowing them to partake in adventure programming, educational curriculum, and empowerment activities!

LCT conducts 8 one-week sessions each summer according to the ages and disabilities of the communities we serve. Sessions last 6 days and 5 nights, providing campers with a life-changing summer camp experience, allowing them to partake in adventure programming, educational curriculum, and empowerment activities. LCT offers the special needs community a supportive space to challenge their perceived limitations and become more independent, confident, and happy.

LCT serves campers aged 7+ who live with learning, developmental, physical, hearing, and vision-related disabilities, as well as those with autism. The camp serves statewide in Arizona, serving on a first-come first-serve basis. 

2025 camp schedule: 

  • ​June 1-6 - Multi Challenged Adults, for campers aged 22 years and up who have both intellectual and orthopedic challenges.4
  • June 8-13 - Learning Disabled School, for campers aged 7 to 17 years who have learning challenges only. This is an ambulatory week. (ADHD/ADD/Learning Disabled)
  • June 15-20 - Orthopedically Challenged School Age/Visually Impaired and Blind, for campers7 to 21 years who have orthopedic and/or visual challenges only.
  • June 22-27 - Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Coda, for campers aged 7 to 17 years who are deaf, hard of hearing or children of deaf adults.
  • July 6-11 - Multi-Challenged School-Age/Intellectually Challenged School-Age/Visually Impaired and Blind/Autism Spectrum Disorder 1, for campers 7 to 21 years who have intellectual and/or orthopedic challenges and/or ASD1.
  • July 13-18 - Intellectually Challenged School Age, for campers aged 7 to 21 who have intellectual challenges and minor physical challenges only.
  • July 20-25 - Orthopedically Challenged Adults/Adult Blind, for campers aged 22 years and up who have orthopedic and/or visual challenges only.
  • July 27-August 1 - Intellectually Challenged Adults, for campers aged 22 and up who have intellectual challenges and minor physical challenges only.
