Frida Kahlo is one of my favorite artists because I so admire her bravery at creating artwork about such personal experiences, especially subjects that were considered taboo to be discussed during that time period. She is a symbol of courage, she is fierce, and she is an inspiration. And we can all use a visual reminder that "at the end of the day, we can endure much more than we think we can".
