Dog Training Classes – Fundamentals, Intermediate, and Advanced
Fundamentals Classes
Perfect for puppies and new-to-you dogs, these classes teach basic training, leash walking, housebreaking, positive reinforcement, trust-centered training, and socialization. Open to puppies 10 weeks and up with proof of 2 DHLPP vaccines and Rabies. Graduates are ready for the AKC STAR Puppy Test.
Intermediate Classes
Build on the skills from Fundamentals with more time, distance, and distractions. Open to dogs 5 months and older who have passed the AKC STAR Puppy Test or equivalent, with proof of 3 DHLPP vaccines, Bordatella, and Rabies. Graduates can take the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test.
Advanced Classes
For dogs 1 year and older who have passed the AKC CGC Test. Focuses on real-life situations, working with multiple dogs, advanced training, leash walking, and socialization. Proof of vaccines is required. Graduates are eligible for the AKC Community Canine Good Citizen (CGCA) Test.
