Explore science through your senses! In collaboration with the Foundation for Blind Children, Arizona Science Center presents Science Beyond Sight—a FREE community event on October 5 in Heritage & Science Park. By using senses beyond sight, Guests will have the opportunity to explore STEAM through touching, hearing, tasting and more with hands-on activities, engaging challenges and community partners.

 

This event surrounds the Foundation for Blind Children’s annual White Cane Walk. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., the Arizona community is invited to partake in the 1.2 mile walk in Downtown Phoenix. The Walk helps advocate for those experiencing vision loss, pedestrian safety and how everyone can help people experiencing visual impairment stay safe as they travel. To participate in the walk, please arrive at 9:00 a.m. for registration.
